Welcome Players,

We hope this message finds you well and as excited as we are for the upcoming Scratch Tour Season — YEAR 10! The 2026–27 schedule is mostly set, and we are looking forward to another great season of competitive golf at some of the finest venues in our area.

Since its beginning, Guhrie's Scratch Tour has been committed to providing affordable, off-season tournaments at quality golf courses, while creating opportunities for the top players in our area to compete, improve, and test their games. As we enter our 10th season, we will continue that mission while maintaining the sign-up procedures put in place last season. These procedures help us keep registration organized for all players.

As always, a huge thank you to our friends at Guthries: Joe Guthrie, Tanner Guthrie, and Matthew Myers! Their love for the game makes this all work! Please remember Guthries's Chicken Fingers when you're tailgating this fall!

Player Cost:

Event Entry Fee $75
Tour Championship 2-day Event Entry Fee $115
Scratch Tour Yearly Dues $50.

Priority Exempt Sign-Up:

Exempt players will receive access to sign up for each event three days earlier than the rest of the field. However, exempt players must still sign up.

Priority Exemption Sign-Up window includes the following categories:

Tour Championship Qualifiers for the 2025-2026 Season: Shaw Pritchett, Tobin Ayers, Will McCurdy, Tyler Smith, Cason Hammock, Brooks Urquhart, Connor Reid, Scott Johnston, Wil Clowdus, Alex Balog, Cooper Pratt, Bobby Thomas, Blake Brewer, Rob Varner, Chanse Humber
Top 15 finishers from the previous tournament (after the first event)
Top 20 in Scratch Tour POY Standings (current year after the first event)
Tournament winners from the last three years: John Fisher, Will McCurdy, Garrison Guthrie, Tanner Guthrie, Bobby Thomas, Cason Hammock, Wil Clowdus, Rob Varner, Jeff Taylor, Shaw Pritchett, Brooks Urquhart, Scott Johnston, Alex Balog, Connor Reid.
Player of the Year Winner Lifetime (Men’s and Senior): Connor Reid, Tobin Ayers, Bobby Thomas, Sammy Cole, Will McCurdy, Buddy Alexander, Scott Johnston, Jeff Taylor, Shaw Pritchett

Tournament invites will go out to Handicap Indexes of 3.0 and lower.

Three Days Before Entry/Withdrawal Deadline

If the tournament is not filled, tournament invites will go out to Handicap Indexes of 3.1 and higher who are already listed on the Scratch Tour roster.

• Monday, September 21st: Exempt Players Registration Begins

• Thursday, September 24th: Handicap Indexes 3.0 and lower

• Tuesday, September 29th: Handicap Indexes 3.1 and higher listed on the Scratch Tour roster

• Friday, October 2nd — 12:00 PM: Entry/Withdrawal Deadline. We will not refund entry fees after this date.
